Step into a powerful and often overlooked chapter of Rotary’s history.

Written by Rotarian Lyn Kenney, this book traces the journey from the early women-led clubs of 1911, formed in response to exclusion, to decades of persistence that led to a landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision in 1987.

What followed was a slow but meaningful shift from limited acceptance in North America to Rotary International’s global vote in 1989. It’s a story of determination, progress, and the pioneers who helped reshape Rotary for generations to come.
